If you follow my blog you will have seen me raving about hot chocolate recently but I make mine with a twist – and here it is!
You will need:
- Hot chocolate powder
Start by finding your favourite mug and pouring the water into the kettle. There are no exact measurements as it depends on the size of your mug so use your best judgement.
Then follow the instructions on the chocolate powder packet and place as many spoonfuls as instructed into the bottom of your mug.
Once the kettle has boiled fill up the mug halfway. Add two tablespoons of Nutella and give it all a good stir.
Pour in the milk to top up the mug so it is full. Then stir again and zap it in the microwave to make sure it is nice and hot.
Top with whipped cream and a generous sprinkling of cinnamon – which not many people have on their hot chocolates but tastes amazing and adds a whole new dimension to them!
Now all you need to do is curl up on the sofa with a warm blanket and a good film.
