Day 10 is here which means there are only 40 days of productivity left!
Todays productivity idea came when me and my friend (Daisy) sat down to play Jenga but decided it looked rather boring. ‘Hmm’ we thought. ‘Lets add a splash of colour to this game’. So with our craft instincts taking over we grabbed three different colors of paint – purple, pink and blue, as well as three paint brushes and our Jenga set.
Then all we did was make sure we had three equal rows of blocks and painted both ends of each. (Make sure you stand them up and let them thoroughly dry before flipping them over, to avoid getting paint splodges on your work surface!)
If you pick vibrant and fun colors you should end up with something like this:
It looks so much more exciting now, all that’s left to do is stack away and get started.
To go one step further and make the game even more interesting we cut sticky labels into thin strips and put one on each block, then we wrote on either a truth or a dare. Of course this is totally optional but it just adds another dimension to the game!
Who knew Jenga could be modified so much? Now all that’s left to do is play and try not to lose!
For more short and sweet DIYs like this one you’ll have to stick around for the rest of the productivity pact. x
